They are much better than the original pedals

I have a 3 1/2 inch high shoe. He and my regular boot fit these pedals with no modifications. They are much better than the original pedals. Also, it seems to me that the links appear to be standard so bike shop pedals such as spikes might work as well.

Wider Pedals on Pedals

As with the wider foot pedals, the other two smaller pedals that come with the machine are spares should they ever be needed. So far I like the car and it works great. Well made and doesn't slip. I put it on a small rubber backed doormat to protect the floor and car. Good freedom of movement. Doesn't take up as much space as an exercise bike.

More resistance, less stability

Pedals work and fit the MagneTrainer perfectly. I have previously used a trainer with hand pedal attachments which have worked well and in fact I plan on installing them again and returning to this type of use soon. The problem with foot pedals is that I can't find a way to stabilize them when I'm pedaling with even the slightest resistance.

Also, your ankles are touching the inside bar, and when you put your shoes on, it's still touching the outside bar. And I'm a regular size 8 shoe. It's impossible to do cardio because it just doesn't get the job done. Haven't tried it on my hands yet and will update if needed. While it's a piece of…
