smooth surface

very smooth surface for markers. The marker quickly bled onto the opposite side of the page, but it took a lot of feathering before it actually ran onto the sheet of paper I used for the back cover. I have already used several sheets. They seem to be getting harder and harder to clean. I hope this won't be too much of a problem as I use more sites. As long as they keep filming non-stop, I'll be fine.

not recommended - alcohol markers bleed through, difficult to mix, streaks

I would not recommend this marker pad - unlike others it is NOT just shiny plastic, colored paper or uncoated paper ( that's the worst), but what's crossed out on this paper isn't very suitable for markers. My alcohol markers spilled instantly onto the bottom pages in just a light coat of paint and it took a lot of work and lots of ink to mix the colors here. The water-based markers just covered the page. Also, the paper is bluish white (almost purple) so it didn't work for me. You may have…

Nice paper to use without markers but my notebook is less smudged!

We received the MAKEBEN 8 x 11" Marker Paper Pad, 30 Sheets/(120 gsm) Coloring Pages (A4) in exchange for this review. Really thought I had the right item Markers found for use with alcohol I was wrong, the paper looked good quality but the markers showed through more than on my regular sketchbook just to avoid ruining the page underneath I needed an extra sheet of paper to cover it to use as a protective buffer and even then it could seep through a bit and ruin the page underneath.The paper…
