Driving Makita with Screwdriver Sets

I'd rather drive a Mustang, but the Makita Impact Wrench is high on my list. Makita makes quality tools and accessories. I like to have all the bits in my tool inventory so I can meet most fastening needs.

Lots of repeating beats

It would be nice if the beats were more varied. Parts are good, but five copies is too many. There are multiple slots for installing new bits, which is nice. The quality of the bits themselves is good and the body is good.

Poor technique is best in power and hand tools

The first bit I put in the bit holder I couldn't remove like many other buyers. Otherwise I really liked this set. I made two slits with a Dremmel tool to cut the retaining ring and pull the bit out without damaging it. I can still use the bit holder. Nobody should do this. Chinese technology at its finest.

Excellent quality very durable

I liked that you get multiple attachments for each size and the best part is that they are very durable. I always recommend the cheaper ones because they rip and break, but so far they haven't been with me. Time will tell, but I should also mention that I don't use them in a drill or percussion gun, just a screwdriver. So of course they last longer with me.

Makita is the best!

I have been buying only Makita power tools for over 20 years and have NEVER been disappointed with them. They can take a beating and move on if you take good care of them. Even the tools I bought 20 years ago still work like new. I recently bought a new Makita impact wrench and wanted to add new parts to it. I bought a set of new XPS bits and they are excellent but I bought this ImpactX set to save for my old impact wrench which still works great. To be honest I haven't had a chance to use this

Don't use longer bits with an extension - they will lock together permanently

Don't get me wrong, Makita makes great tools, but the extension used in the same case with the longer (2" bits) supplied) is incompatible, and if you try to use one of these longer bits with an extension, they will lock together and cannot be removed (even with a vise. Makita knows this and they just tell you not to replace their bits with their extension (Again, this is the same case with their bits.) The irony is that you can use other manufacturers' 2" bits with their extension and not…
