Good blade, extra fine kerf

Great, normal quality from Makita, but the color made me think it was tiny, but duller than unpainted blades, but cut well and left a mark good ending. It also comes in a nice reusable plastic packaging that you can use to store your old blade in for safekeeping.

Pros
  • Cuts up to 70% faster than standard blades
Cons
  • So-so

The old blade never looked dull.

So I tried cutting the bottom of the door with my old regular carbide blade. It always seemed to work fine, but when the cut comes out at a 5 degree angle, something is wrong. Bought this new knife and wow! Cuts like butter! I'm sure any new blade would cut better than the old one I had, but like the shock absorbers in a car, they never feel bad until you put new ones in.

Pros
  • High quality tungsten carbide tips for durability
Cons
  • Vulgarity

Sorry, but mistake by Makita.

This larger saw blade works well with a table or miter saw. But not too much for a circular saw. I've had more kickback with this blade than any other blade in 40 years and it didn't last very long. It became dull very quickly. I used this disc on 8 sheets of 1/2" OSB and made about 15 ripping cuts. I had to replace them and put in a new blade. For now , I'll get back to Irwin Blades. Sad today that this is one of Makita's epic mistakes is.

Pros
  • .057" ultra-fine kerf reduces tool stress
Cons
  • weak
