I really liked this piece. I've had two others and this one is by far the best. The blade is easy to adjust, I don't have to keep extra blades, and I especially like the cross cut that my other slicers didn't have a blade for. I also really like how the two piece holder works, it makes it easy to use. My only downside with this slicer so far is how careful you have to be when cleaning, the blades are incredibly sharp.

I cut a medium tomato almost evenly, I had to move it a bit to cut through. Cucumbers were in one breath! Sweet potato - it cut it fine but I tried the julienne setting and the force required to cut it was huge and certainly unsafe to use that much force.
