Washer missing?

The washing machine seems to have a filter for some people but not for others. I just received mine and it did NOT contain a puck. Otherwise everything seems fine.

High quality filters at a great price!

A filter of excellent quality and at a great price! Fits my 2012 MINI Cooper S Countryman. Mine came with an o-ring for the filter housing but I am deducting 1 star as I feel it should also come with a drain plug washer like some other brands.

Various filters for 2007 Mini Cooper S

This filter is suitable for 2007 Mini Cooper S coupe. For the 2007 S Cabrio, use the HU 816/2X. However, both filters are excellent. for different cars. Unfortunately, most parts books only list the later ones, which ones are larger, and whether you can buy them at parts stores. 4 times more than 711/51.

Better than MINI Purolex filter

This is officially the only filter I recommend others to use in their German cars! I used to only buy OEM filters until I came across MANN filters and realized how reliable and economical they are. I did extensive research and found that the actual filtration capability of these filters is higher than the OEM. Besides, at half price of OEM, it is win-win!

Drain plug not included

I have had positive experiences with MANN filters on my previous machine. I got this filter for my 2008 Mini Cooper (base/non-turbo). I give it 4 stars because it didn't come with a drain plug washer (small metal ring). So I have to spend another 3-5 dollars for a washing machine. An OEM filter is included, although it costs about $5 more depending on where you buy it.

WILL NOT FIT 2014 Mini Countryman

Although Revain says it will fit my 2014 Mini Countryman it definitely does not. Although the filter has the correct external dimensions to fit snugly in the housing, the internal hole diameter is 28mm and the correct internal diameter is 23mm. So while you can install it and it will seal without leaking, most of the oil is likely to go through the filter.
