Perfect! to accessories and consumables

Light, low resistance, good design (this is a copy of western military whip), nice workmanship, nice materials, unobtrusive color, good performance and value for money relationship for money and quality. $50 (how much I paid). I use it as an alternate pin on top of a mobile antenna with a medium screwdriver and it definitely fails.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Basically good, but...

Looks good but main issue - Fixed in replacement antenna

. Tried removing it but don't want to damage the filaments. I'm sending it back and hoping the replacement will fix the problem. Update after receiving the replacement antenna: The polymer "blob" is still there, but is no longer blocking the filaments like the first one.

Pros
  • . Pleasant
Cons
  • . Not satisfied

Perfect! best in radio Antennas

Light weight, low resistance, good design (this is a replica of western military whip), nice workmanship, nice materials, invisible color, good performance and good value for $50 (how much I paid). I use it as an alternate pin on top of a mobile antenna with a medium screwdriver and it definitely fails.

Looks good, but the main problem has been fixed in the replacement antenna.

Original review: Looks like a good antenna *BUT* there is a lump of polymer on the threads preventing it from mating with the bracket or coil. I've tried removing it but I don't want to damage the threads. I'm sending it back and hoping the replacement will fix the problem. Update after receiving the replacement antenna: The polymer "blob" is still there, but is no longer blocking the filaments like the first one.

Works very well on 17 and 40m

This product is almost inspired in size and style by the foldable military whip sold by Chameleon at a fraction of the cost. Love it and it seems to work well as a replacement for my Wolf River Coil TIA Mini Whip. This alone resonates at 17M. Using it with a coil also gives a very flat SWR curve for 20M. At 40M it starts to narrow its bandwidth, but in a manageable way. To protect it from the elements, I would suggest adding dielectric grease to ensure the connections work properly in wet…

Pros
  • Radio Antennas
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled
