When I ordered this I thought we could install it on our boat right away but had to wait. I was pleasantly surprised with this main unit and speakers. The speakers look well built and have large magnets. I also fitted 6.5" Hydras. installed radio worked perfectly, but only after using it twice no more sound from the speakers, everything else works perfectly but no sound to be felt! I was connected to bluetooth when my phone was listening to music then i got a call and then the speakers made a terrible sound, i turned off bluetooth but when i reconnected there was no sound. Bought at a great price in cold weather and just installed. I haven't tested the water resistance yet, although it rained 3 days in a row, so I'll let you know if there are any issues. It's only been installed a few weeks so I can't comment on durability. But for $60 this is a great device. The receiver itself is worth the price - the speakers are pretty nice, but given the price, it's hard to be too critical. I've replaced some 15 year old Kenworths that had been blown and beaten by the weather and they happened to still sound better than new with the new receiver. Little crap there. But it's really unfair to expect a $60 radio and speaker to sound the same as a $30-$40…
