Too small an opening is best for art, painting and artist supplies

I don't like the bottle this paint comes in. I don't use the pop up part of the lid to push the paint into the container. I like to use a paint cap, dip a brush in a bottle, or pour paint. The hole is very small. It is impossible to get into the bottle with a brush. I won't do it again.

Pros
  • Expensive but decent
Cons
  • Weight

Excellent quality and variety of colors

I checked this color line and bought another color. I use them mainly for working with polymer clay. There are many techniques I use acrylic paint on clay. This series of paints does an excellent job with all the techniques I have used them in and far outperforms any other acrylic paints I have used to create the cracked effect on polymer clay.

Pros
  • A sea of positive emotions
Cons
  • Modern

Works well on towels

I used two bottles of Aquarium Color with several stencils to paint about 20 face towels for my girlfriend's bachelorette party and she did did it good. A year has passed and the color has not faded. You should either pull everything in one direction or move back and forth across the towels, mostly down to personal preference. In general, it fit me well, the color still holds.

Pros
  • This patented high performance acrylic paint is specially formulated for use on all surfaces
Cons
  • Available in black only

The best paint for working with polymer clay

I have used several brands of acrylic paints for polymer clay and this line of colors is the best for working with polymer clay in my opinion. Aside from working extremely well for any technique where you are using acrylic paint on polymer clay, this is the absolute best brand and line for creating cracked effects on polymer clay. The craquelure effect is very pronounced and easily achieved with this paint. In addition, the variety of colors is excellent. I first bought four colors and after…

Pros
  • Plaid-Martha Stewart Crafts: bead paint for creativity
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

I love this paint! paintable

I used Martha Stewart's Acrylic Pearlescent Aquarium Paint to paint the exterior glass back of my 5.5 gallon aquarium. I used a foam roller and the paint applied very smoothly. The first two layers were left translucent to allow light to pass through. I did want to mask the filter and heater wires though, so I applied four coats to keep outside light from getting through them to highlight the work on the back of the tank. I changed the direction of the roller - vertical strokes of the first…

Pros
  • Made in USA
Cons
  • Crumpled
