Didn't last. on Mass Air Flow

I thought it was a good product as it got a lot of good reviews but it lasted less than 3 months in my 2006 Chevy Tahoe. I could have replaced it myself but I chose to have it installed at the shop and after less than 3 months and 5,000 miles it broke and I need another. Spend your money on a well-known brand and save yourself the headache of having to replace it all over again.

Go with OEM! - Replacement Parts

UPDATE - 10/16/19 Sporadic since item received. I'm going in to maybe clean it, when I removed the wiring harness one of the connector pins came out with it. Dissatisfied. OEM should have been used instead. The product lasted less than 30 miles and then started getting stuck again. I checked and it turned out to be the mass air flow sensor. Went back to the old one just cleaned up and the trucks work fine. I wish I could return it!

Part broken after 1 day.

I installed it on my 2003 Chevy Silverado 1500 4x4 with 5.3L engine. 60 km driven well. The next day I left my car, pulled onto Main Street and my truck started rattling like no other. My check engine light came on again and the code was for the mass air flow sensor. Luckily I had my tools in the truck and the parking lot was only 3 miles away. I replaced it again and installed the Autozone part. Now my truck runs much better and more economically.

MAFS failed after 5 months

This item was purchased to repair a children's truck - easy installation (no difference to other brands of MAFS). Broke after about 5 months. Only now the truck was at school and had to pay a local shop to replace it with a new MAF, not here at home in the garage. I contacted the seller via Amazon links for a replacement because the ad says 'lifetime guarantee' - no - they referred me to Revain customer service because 'item shipped from Amazon'? Thank goodness I bought it through Revain…

Something has changed in my Chevrolet 5.3 Silverado

. My pickup has been in my backyard for 6 years and starts it up from time to time. There were wasp/dirt nests in the air filter tube and on the filter itself. It will not idle or barely run even after cleaning and replacing the many elements associated with the filter. I thoroughly cleaned the mass air flow sensor with a suitable cleaner, but there was almost no improvement. After replacing the MAF sensor with this one from Revain, it NOW idles and starts/runs correctly. I still have a few…

Only worked for a short time, then failed

After installation, the truck drove normally again and the OBD code never came back. A few weeks later I had to take the car to my mechanic to fix a few very different things that I couldn't do myself. After fixing the instructions he found that this mass air flow meter was also not working properly and the OBD codes started showing up again. He measured the voltage from that sensor and found it wasn't even close to what it should have been so he replaced it and fixed the problem with that…

Part appears to have fixed issue

I received the part the day after I ordered it and was able to install it the next day. On my 2006 Silverado 1500, this made life and installation of the MAF sensor much easier by removing the entire air hose assembly. I did this with a flat head screwdriver following the recommended repair procedures. I sprayed silicone grease on a paper towel and rubbed the mating surfaces of the rubber gaskets to make them easier to install, but I didn't do it "upstream" from the sensor. After assembling and
