Stainless Steel Locking Pin

The beautiful pin is made of stainless steel so it shouldn't rust or get stuck in the hole in the case. Hopefully this is safe as I don't want anyone walking away with my weight secured with this locking pin. I would recommend.

Reliable product for towing products and winches

This is my third stop pin that I have ordered and this works after having to return the previous ones. Push the latch lightly and it LOCKS! There is a gap of about 1/4 inch between the lock and the hitch. Easy to unlock with one hand. Good quality and waterproof design!

Great durable lock! No problems after 5 years

Already have one for my other tractor and have had it for about 5 years now. I got another one for my new additional tractor because of the quality. I really liked the stainless steel lock, I never had any problems with it. I use this for my boat trailer and we have a lot of hard water. When I bought my first I was concerned if it would be ok. Absolutely! The key works smoothly and never had a problem removing the lock. If you are looking for a great castle look no further.

Pros
  • Looking forward to it
Cons
  • Out of fashion

Well done. A turnkey 90 degree slot is brilliant.

I paid for a very nice aluminum adjustable height towbar and wanted to make sure it wouldn't get stolen. All of my lockable pins in the past have had a lock in line with the pin. I just bought a very nice motorcycle tractor that costs $500. I'm getting older and my near vision is terrible. With this forklift attached, it is impossible to see the end of the tongue pin without getting under the machine. When the front of the lock is at a 90 degree angle to the pin, everything is locked. Very easy

It fits perfectly on my 2015 Ford's 2 " receiver.

I'm giving 5 stars now because it works very well. It fits perfectly on my 2015 Ford's 2" receiver. The Escape. I bought this because it was stainless steel not chrome steel as a commenter posted a photo of the chrome with some rust on it. Next time I'm in the shop I'll add some PTFE lube. The manufacturer recommends doing this every few months to keep the lock running smoothly. Others have found their lock to freeze after a year or so, which may be due to not following the manufacturer's…

Great item holds up well to impact

3 year update. This hitch lock is still in use (year round) and looks almost new despite being exposed to Minnesota road salt all winter. It looks a heck of a lot better than the receiver and the hitch it's attached to. The little rubber plug covering the lock's keyhole broke about a year ago, but that still didn't protect the lock from sand as it was never watertight. I spray Tri Flow Lock or similar a few times a year and have had no problems. All winter I keep my hitch tight, in the summer I
