Meets MY expectations

This is not an exact copy of the color of the furniture, but I expected it. Still looks pretty close. Looks good and offers extra protection against future scrapes. I used it on my desk where the laminate was peeling. Between my hand on him and the chair bumping against him. It gives extra life to my table. It's not perfect, but it fits well enough.

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • Minor flaws

Looks good from a distance

It looks like a fancy duck ribbon that looks like a tree from a distance. The sticky backing is like duct tape and sticks really well to my metal Ikea magnetic knife strip. I bought a good knife and didn't want it rubbing against the metal stand I already had. The knife holder bar needed a protective surface that also looks good. That helped.

  • Delivery was very fast

I like the results I got off the tape

I like the results I got off the tape. A simple solution to renovate my cherry wood desk in my office. So far the tape is holding up well, contrary to other reviews I've read. However, it has too much cherry red undertone and doesn't match my table at all. I'm trying to ignore the color difference because that was the easiest solution I could find. I don't think the tape was $10, but it was cheaper than trying to get my desk dirty.

Pros
  • Pleasant
Cons
  • Poorly thought out

Embarrassing situation. in wall repair

I used this tape to cover up a chipped veneer on the edge of a table that was originally damaged by a sharp object. After covering the damaged area with this tape, everything looked fine, but after a few days the wood fiber layer came off the tape. The tape was still on the table, but the wood grain was peeling off. Although the tape stuck perfectly, like duct tape, the veneer layer didn't stick. I would have asked for a refund but I hesitated and the deadline has passed.

Works but... for wall repair

My desktop had a lot of chipped edges. It's not real wood so I can't sand it down. I kept getting my clothes and skin on rough edges so I decided to use this tape. The band works great. I made a long stripe across the entire front edge to make it look less sticky. That works great. The color has changed so much that it looks a bit vulgar, but at least I'm not clinging to clothes anymore! If you're looking for something that will blend perfectly with your tree, this may not be it. But if you…

Color match was good but product was difficult to apply

I bought a roll of cherry ribbon. The color match was good but the product was difficult to apply. It consists of double-sided tape attached to a thin colored plastic strip that breaks easily when applied, leaving a series of 'bubbles' to work on - while pulling the colored strip out of the mold. Why use double-sided tape when the "sticky" side needs to be stuck directly onto the colored stripe? For repairs, there must be something better on the market!

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

A great way to salvage battered furniture!

I have an L-shaped mahogany office desk and after a few months of use it started to peel at the edges. After much searching, I came across this product while trying to hide these areas. It was very easy to follow the instructions and install (don't forget to oil the scissors before cutting the tape). And the end result looks very acceptable and much better than anything before application. It doesn't match the color of the table perfectly, but it's barely noticeable from afar and inspires…

Great if you have realistic expectations.

Clearly not designed for fine wood furniture repair. I used it to cover the edge of a table where all the cheap veneer was peeling off. This tape definitely looks better than all the hanging veneer cuts with translucent white chipboard, and it was a lot easier than buying a whole new table. If you are familiar with duct tape, this tape is almost identical in stickiness and thickness. In my opinion it would be unrealistic to expect a perfect color match - wood colors are too diverse and they can

Works well and has held up so far

Unlike other reviewers I found it stuck to my cherry red computer desks very well. I applied it to the front edges of two tables, each 5 feet long, and I didn't have much left. It's been a few weeks and still the tape or its glue hasn't come loose. I would buy it again although I think it should be half the price the company is asking. I advised the company to do business with ready-made furniture dealers because cheap veneer sometimes needs touching up after a few uses. However, the company…
