This does not fit the car said to fit. Unfortunately we didn't get it back in time even though we couldn't use them. I think we will eventually recycle them, if ever?

Bought for my Tiburon and they fit. To be fair, the description says it's a heavy Tiba spoiler. I can definitely agree that this is a bit too strong for most people, but being 14ft I have no problem with it. Better than falling on me trying to get my groceries out.

They fit my 2006 Tiburon perfectly and are easy to fit. The only reason they lose a star is because they are TOO strong. Much stronger than OEM even when new. You have to pull the sunroof down very hard to clear the struts and close it. Provided they gradually lose performance like the old ones, although surely this replacement kit will last the rest of the car's life.

I had to remove the strut mount from the underside of the trunk by 10mm, fit a new thicker stanchion and then refit the bracket with the new stanchion. Whereas the old strut came off instantly without having to remove that bracket. Easy repair in 5 minutes! It was a direct replacement for the 2007 Mitsubishi Endeavor. It's best to have an assistant to hold the back door while you work. Of the tools, only a thin standard screwdriver is needed to knock out the old latches. The new assembly snaps easily into place. Once installed the new ones take a little more effort to get over the pistons and close the tailgate (compared to what I can remember from the OEM when they were in good condition).
