Be sure to have factory screws!

That's how it is with all 88-91 CRX. MUST HAVE OEM SCREWS! This is for those who have standard mounting screws. They are easy to install and come with the equipment. I've added photos for those who are a little lost as to how hard it is going. Be sure to hand tighten them and then use a ratchet to avoid mixing up the threads on the hatch and hull!

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • There are problems

Will not repair Honda CRX

Maxpow makes good quality lift brackets but they don't quite fit the Honda CRX. The CRX has ball joints at the top and bottom that connect to the lift leg, but the bottom of the lift leg is not articulated. I took apart an old lift bracket and used a ball joint to hold the bottom of the lift bracket and it worked. Not quite what I expected, but for now it's good.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Hard to say

A perfect fit as a replacement for the original

This is a direct replacement for the original Honda sunroof pillars. They require original mounting screws (Honda part number 90103-SH2-000). If you have four ball joint mounting points, then somewhere in your car's history the original sunroof pillars have been replaced. They are so close to the original that the Honda end caps (74829-SH2-000) are a perfect match for these replacement parts. They are quickly screwed in and work like the originals.

Pros
  • Great product
Cons
  • Definitely bad product

They work but don't mount in the same way as the OEM. Remove Ball Nut and

CHEAP. They work but don't mount in the same way as the OEM. You need to remove the ball nut and then put the end with the ring under the bracket and tighten the bracket again. OR you can just take a metric screw and secure it with a washer. They are pretty solid and although I only installed them yesterday I think I got a lot for the money. I will update if they fail soon.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Requires Socket

Good but not the best

I have 91 crx si. On my car, 4 ball head bolts were used to attach the luggage rack. The stands I received have a ball stud mount on one side and a loop on the other. The only way to install what I got was to remove the bottom mounting bolt and place the plastic collar (included) onto the vehicle frame and then line up the bottom hinge followed by the plastic washer (also included) and then tightening the 14mm cap screw that was in my garage. It works and they hold the sunroof well, but I just…

Fits perfectly! for shocks, struts and suspension

I bought these to replace broken factory brackets on my 1991 CRX Si. They support the Maxpow brand. The fit was great, they look just like the factory. The quality looks the same. They mount to the hatch using the ball nuts provided and factory 14mm bolts to the hull. Some say in their reviews that they are wrong because they don't have two ball ends. These folks were previously given cheap aftermarket props that didn't use a factory mount. This is a direct replacement for the factory mounts…

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Not bad
