Handsome and durable

I had to see them to believe them, but these are reliable hybrid replacement tires. Tire sizes can be confusing so I believe they have an ISO 40-622 size stamped on the side in addition to the 700C-38 designation. Rolling Circle 35-13/16. I've been using them for about a year and we ride a lot on not-so-good back roads with paved, gravel and cracked surfaces. You have held up well. So far, so good.

Quality bike tire

I have just fitted a second pair of these tyres. Done over 4000 miles on the first set and they have about 1000 miles of tread left. Replaced because I'm leaving for a 1200 mile tour. Will reinstall when I come back to squeeze out all the mileage. For such a wide hoop, they're light, maneuverable, and easy to put on and take off. I had 4 broken wires. In comparison, I had 4 flat tires over 7,000 miles on a pair of Marathon XRs that cost twice as much and were more difficult to get on and off…

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Only available in white

Maxxis gives you maximum confidence in your bike tire

The Maxxis Overdrive Hybrid Bike Tire is a great tire. In fact, it's even better. I have a Windsor Rover 2.0 Hybrid and it comes from the standard Kenda OEM. It was enough, but being a fairly tall 6'3"230# male and having a disability I can't afford to break or leak on any type of trail or city route. I've had these tires for now about 200 miles and they still look like new! But they also have a good tread pattern and seem to work well on both wet and dry roads. I'll probably update this review

Great for commuting

My wife got me these for Christmas since I ride my bike (I ride about 16 miles a day, 8 one way). I have a 29-inch hardtail mountain bike for riding through the snowy Utah winters, but I wanted the tires to be a little less aggressive and more road-friendly than the stock mountain bike tires. It is excellent. I've driven it about 150 miles and haven't had a single puncture so far and the tread seems to be holding up pretty well. I think they could have used a little more durable rubber but for…
