Bought this to keep my dog (Staffordshire Terrier) in the living room without having to keep him in a cage while we're away. He chewed on the nylon lines we were given but couldn't with this one so I consider it a success.

My dog likes to keep the leash in his mouth when he walks. The plastic piece that connects the metal clip and the leash doesn't hold up. I had to tape it in place like all of his other leashes. Currently. This dog is a Yorkie. A small animal dog tore several leashes.

The loop on the handle came loose and as we used it to attach the leash to the pole while walking and stopped briefly, our very friendly dog came loose! And we didn't have a pen anymore. A metal leash is difficult to hold without a handle!

This leash might work. but it smells so good I'll never know. The material the pen is made of has a terribly strong odor. I'm afraid to touch it - since the smell is so strong I can't imagine how much washing it would take to wash it off. Stay away. Absolutely terrible

I bought these for a dog who attacks, chews and pulls on the leash. This leash didn't deter this behavior, but I didn't spend much time on it either before the dog was adopted. The handle is comfortable and ideal for walking dogs in the woods as it doesn't get caught. I wouldn't want to use this in situations where I would need to pull the dog towards me when other dogs or people are passing by as I have nothing to hold on to.

I had high hopes for this product but it was very uncomfortable to use. The foam grip is so thick that I struggled to hold it securely. For those of us using this type of leash, it is important to have a good grip on the handle as the leash will bite. Also, the foam had a TERRIBLE burnt rubber smell and I couldn't even keep it at home because it smelled so bad. I received credit for my purchase and while I didn't have to return it, I don't think I'll ever use it.

Our 6 month old puppy is doing great until he sees our house. Then she decides that she really, really wants to go home NOW. She would grab the nylon leash with her mouth and essentially pull on it until we got home, backing up/tugging/whatever led her to the front door. It was ridiculous, now those puppy teeth could tear through nylon/cloth leashes quickly. She destroyed 3 in one week! I searched for "pure linen" and found this one. A complete game changer!
