These sponges are amazing!

Not sure if some of the other people are wrong but if you follow the instructions you will be amazed. I squeezed it under succulent water several times to get it wet faster, but with the lightest squeeze the very sticky love bugs that were a few days old came off right away! I did the other side of my car the old fashioned way and they took my fingernail to scrape a rag and lots of scratches to remove them. I don't know how long they will last but they seem very durable. If they ever run out…

EXCELLENT GOODS! for car care

This thing works great! Make sure to use wet paint or you'll ruin the paint. I live in the country so I have bugs covering the front of my car. My son uses bug spray when he washes my car but it never gets rid of all the bugs. Received this in the mail, wanted to test it right away, so I soaked it in hot water for 5-10 minutes, then tested it with no cleaner/soap, and to my shock it removed the bugs with ease! Even those stubborn bugs that didn't move were gone! Definitely impressed! I will…

Highly recommended. I have 3 or 4 error removers or .

Highly recommended. I have tried 3 or 4 bug cleaners or chemicals to remove bugs from the painted plastic front grille without affecting the paint. In desperation, I bought these to use with the bug cleaner I already had. Soaked in warm water for 5 minutes as recommended and they worked great without the bug cleaner. Through trial and error, it turned out that more pressure didn't help. In fact, less pressure seemed to have better results. The first time I spent 15-20 minutes fixing a lot of…

The pads are only half the size expected.

I have been using these bug remover brushes for over 15 years and have found them safe and effective when used as intended on painted vehicles. These pads will not scratch as the clear coating is harder than the pad material. Incorrect washing habits such as no pre-soak or pre-wash and pre-rinse when heavily soiled are more likely to cause scratches. Wash and rinse before settling on dried bugs. My problem is that the list is misleading. The size of the "Item" given in the specifications is to…

Lovers are the worst. These sponges are the best.

WOW! In the South we are currently in the midst of "love bug season" which is as close to hell on earth as it gets for us long haul passengers. Love bugs are horrible creatures whose blood and guts turn sour when they dry on your car, so they'll eat away at your paintwork if you leave them on it for too long. Due to my work and work schedule, I didn't have time to wash my car, so I was very worried after not washing my car for several days. First photo before, second photo after. I'm surprised.

Pros
  • Top marks for grip and durability from testers
Cons
  • Not as thick as other options
