NO mercury vapor, NO UV light

This lamp is marked as a mercury UV lamp. Upon closer inspection, it can be seen that this is an ordinary incandescent lamp, as stated on the packaging. It works like a heat lamp, but not for the ultraviolet light that reptiles need.

So far, so good! for Heat Lamp and Terrarium Mat

I've bought a lot of different light bulbs and they usually last less than a month before they burn out and they're quite expensive. Pros
  • β—€ Input Voltage: AC 110-120V, Power: 100W, Full Size: 3.1"Dia x 4.3"H, Long Lifespan.
Cons
  • You could have chosen a newer model

FAST FADE - also contains no mercury fumes

UPDATE #2 - The second bulb lasted less than two weeks. When removing the lamps, one of them completely detached from its threaded base. --- UPDATE - wow, the first one I installed already burned out. It lasted a little over two months - it's pretty awful. Choose a different UVA lamp (I like ClearBrite - see below). ---ORIGINAL MESSAGE: Similar to the ClearBrite Exotic Pet Bulb (#80754) I buy locally for $10 each except they have frosted glass. Definitely not mercury bulbs - you can tell by the
