Worked great for me

Installed on a 2004 X3 2.5L with air intake manifold flap and has driven over 200 miles with no problems. After replacing both, performance has definitely increased. Super easy to assemble! The dealership listed the cost of parts + labor as $1,000. We could replace both for $105 :)

Pros
  • Sturdy construction meant to provide years of service from your vehicle. Just replace your old car mass air flow sensor and never think about it again.
Cons
  • weak

Was curious if that would work.

literally worked for several hours, after which the engine began to work terribly. Took it out and it smelled burnt. To be honest go to the dealer, fcp euro (lifetime warranty) or any other reputable company to buy euro parts. It was a curiosity test, and that's the bottom line. Save money by spending in the right areas - 04 BMW 325i - M54b25 engine

Pros
  • Fits perfectly in your vehicle and helps your vehicle's computer determine the best air/fuel ratio.
Cons
  • Modernity

Great price solved the problem!

I hunted a typical mix. Bank 1 and Bank 2 codes for 2 months. I've fixed all the vacuum leaks and replaced the CCV valve to no avail. I did a real-time scan while cruising down the road and noticed that the short and long term fuel trims seem horribly high. I decided to replace the mass air flow sensor and that solved my problem. It was a risk as many non-German parts didn't work on the BMW, but it was great! No problem, no more "service engine" light!

Pros
  • Precision designed to precisely control airflow into your vehicle's engine.
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

Be careful! Best in Sensors

I fitted the MAF to my super clean BMW E-46 M-Sport 325CI and pulled out the original Siemens MAF sensor. Installation was easy and the parts fit perfectly. However after driving 30 miles I am now getting Code 102 Mass or Volumetric Air Flow A Circuit Low pending. There is no check engine light. This means your circuit is not allowing or balancing airflow. I'm thinking of putting my original MAF sensor back in after a good cleaning. I was also surprised to see that your device is made in China.
