Type of review

As other reviewers have said, they look more like flimsy paper than regular coffee filter media. Reminds me of tracing paper. This prevents the water from draining out fast enough and the coffee basket from filling up and overflowing, causing the ground coffee to end up in your coffee pot. Not pleasant at all and waste of money. I'll try a few other brands, but in the meantime I'll continue to cut holes in my traditional 8-cup brew filters and use them in the percolator's brew basket instead.

Works as expected: Coffee and espresso maker parts and accessories

I recently pulled my old Corningware 6 cup coffee maker out of the garage and couldn't find the disc filters I used in any store. A little moisture ensures a tight fit at the bottom of the basket and allows for almost complete filtration of the grist. It will take me a while to use up 400 of these as I only strain my coffee with Keurig for work on weekends but it seems like good value for money. Filters work as intended

Filters most grinds in my percolator (Presto) well. To get the best grind filter and for easier cleaning, I usually use Melitta filter coffee (filters 4-6 cups). Use a knife to cut a small "X" in the center of the drip filter and place it in the metal basket. Feed the percolator tube through the bottom of the basket and through the slit in the filter paper. Fill in the coffee grounds, fold over the edges of the paper filters, close the lid of the basket and off you go! This method works well…
