Memorex 700MB/80-Minute 52x Data CD-R Media - 50-Pack Spindle Review

I have tried discs from Memorex, TDK, Maxell, Sony, Imation and Verbatim mainly for music radio and they have proven their effectiveness . almost as effective in my experience. Also, the more expensive versions labeled "Music" do not have better sound quality than the "blank" discs from the same manufacturers. So if you prefer the cheapest of the otherwise equivalent alternatives, Memorex is almost always the best choice. Since the current price of a 50 disc pack is almost three times the price

A few months later I tried to burn some CDs but my computer kept asking me to insert a blank disc. I thought there was something wrong with my computer, but it was only a few months old. What an atrocity these wheels are. I have three different CD drives:* Plextor PX-755SA (firmware 1.07)* Plextor PX-716A (firmware 1.11)* Toshiba SD-R1612 (firmware version unknown) All discs were burned on PX-755CA. A write failed (maybe just a bad disc; that happens), so I'm ruling that out from my perspective. All writes were done at 16x (sometimes I go faster, but I prefer less rereading when using discs). Discs work well. I record a lot of CDs and have probably ordered 5 of those 100 CDs in the last 5 months. Only one of them could open normally. The only way to open this container is to unscrew the top cap. It's hard to twist and it takes a lot of twists to get it where you think you can open it. If I keep turning this knob, it starts to crackle and won't open. From there, I figure out a way to break into that container to get at the disks. I salvaged a middle shelf from one of those episodes…
