Description of πŸ–€ Enhanced Side Deflector in Black (FLH) by Memphis Shades

Additional wind protection provided by the change in low-level airflow around the rider's upper body and elbows. Turbulence is less noticeable due to the neutralized draft behind the fairing. Available in seven colors as well as ghost (a light tint with 85% visible light transmission). Easy installation. Include hardware. Sold in pairs. Made in the U.S.A. Fits Harley-Davidson flh models 1996 - 2013.

Will not fit windshields and accessories

This item does not fit my Memphis Shades bat fairing. However, Revane said I could return it. It's not "one size fits all".

Pros
  • Permanent test results
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Good product. Better HD.

Great product. Better than the Harley-Davidsons that were there. thicker material. Came with all necessary mounting material. Rubber grommets I believe will help with durability.

Pros
  • Availability
Cons
  • Vulgarity

Doesn't fit Memphis Shades racquet cover

Great quality for Memphis Shades Tri-checked numbers match manufacturer's racquet cover but don't fit at all. The top and bottom holes line up with the center hole by almost an inch.

Pros
  • Comfortable to use
Cons
  • Has issues

Function over form on bikes and strength sports

Thanks to them and the lower boom wind deflector I've lost 99% of wind, beard and helmet hits. I hit 80 mph on my commute today and the wind blew over the fairing a bit just because I'm 6ft 4" tall and my windshield is only 6". Would recommend to anyone struggling with the wind.

Pros
  • Great construction
Cons
  • Makes me nervous

Alright - body and frame parts

They're a little thinner than the price tag says. Driven it approx. 2000 km (summer) without any problems. Is the plastic thin? I will come back and reevaluate them after riding in colder weather this winter. I have a feeling they might break if they get cold. If they survive the Iowa winter, I'll give them a fifth star.

Pros
  • Sequins
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

First, they look great. The second adjustment on my '05 Electra Glide was a problem. It wasn't an exact match. To close the gaps I tightened 3 screws. The top corner is broken because I bent it to fit my fairing. I tightened all the screws evenly but the crack was still there. The right side fitted perfectly, but the left had issues

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Base required

Best deal on Revain

Cheap Chinese models are available at Revain. Don't worry, Memphis Shades is an American company. They are of good quality, fit perfectly and do a great job of keeping the wind out. The bat wing has a lot of wind that goes up and up, causing blows on and around the face. He does an excellent job of limiting this. It's a motorcycle, you'll get some wind. I highly recommend them.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Style 90
