Took 4 months :( - my new review

One side is completely "destroyed" but the front and top are fine. He wore them for four months. My child has had Merrell shoes in the past which he has outgrown although they were in very good condition. And for $60 I expected the same Merrell quality.

Pros
  • My 10 year old loves these shoes. He wears them every day. They fit him perfectly and are easy to put on and take off.
Cons
  • Came out dirty with sand or something all over the ground. Washed by hand in the kitchen sink. New shoes shouldn't be like this.

Best of all times, maybe? in my rating

I bought these for my 9 year old daughter and she is over the moon with how much she loves them - how great they feel (she makes them run faster when exercising, she says) and what beautiful colours. Happy with the purchase! Will buy one size up so we have it when she needs it.

Pros
  • I love this for my daughter. She can walk, run and climb in it. Great pull, well made and appealing.
Cons
  • They looked cute and I like the velcro and easy on and off, but they are too small.

Great sneakers for low profile hikes!

Bought these for my 9 year old for hiking camp in Pocono and they were perfect. She had put them on twice before to break them in, but that was it and the blister was nowhere to be seen!

Pros
  • The shoes have a non-slip outsole that provides extra traction and prevents slips and falls on uneven terrain.
Cons
  • May be uncomfortable for those with high arches or flat feet.

I love these shoes best in my review

Bought a pair for my two grandchildren for Christmas, they love it, they said they like walking on air, highly recommend and will definitely be buying them again

Pros
  • The shoes have a removable insole that allows you to add custom orthotics or insoles.
Cons
  • May not be easy to clean due to the materials used

Cute but upside down!

My daughter loved these shoes and they fit well. However, they are NOT waterproof. She poured some water over it to test it and her sock got wet immediately. Disappointed with this as I bought these to wear when camping/hiking.

Pros
  • The shoes have reflective details to improve visibility and safety on night hikes.
Cons
  • May cause blisters or chafing on long hikes

Garbage! my judgement

My son has been wearing these shoes for less than 4 weeks and they are clearly rubbish! Very disappointed. I wonder if they really are Merrells. His last pair of Merrells lasted over a year, he outgrew them.

Pros
  • Good quality and great fit, my son loves them. They fit as expected. Would buy again. Not too narrow.
Cons
  • The shoes were the correct size but were damaged and looked like they had been worn before.

Lightweight, great color

Shoes are very light and easy to take off. But I have a feeling that today's Merrells are not as good in quality as previous generations. Not sure how long they will last so fingers crossed they are worth it.

Pros
  • The shoes have good breathability and prevent feet from sweating and feeling uncomfortable.
Cons
  • May not provide adequate protection from the elements

Consistent....!!! good for me

My son rips shoes in a week! They were so dirty after wearing them for about 5 days but I washed them in the washing machine and they are like new again. Very durable. Will be buying these from now on instead of the typical Nike or other athletic shoes that are falling apart.

Pros
  • The Merrell brand is known for making quality hiking shoes that are trusted by outdoor enthusiasts around the world.
Cons
  • Not suitable for people who require orthotics or other support devices in their shoes.

Great shoe review from me

My son wears these shoes every day and they hold up very well. He wore them on a canyon tour last weekend and they worked very well and gave good grip on the rocks. would recommend.

Pros
  • Immediate delivery. Good quality.
Cons
  • A picture says more than 1000 words. One green shoe, 1 gray appearance. Draw conclusions about the packer.

I love these shoes! the best in my rating

Good quality. They don't feel like they're going to fall apart in a week. I was surprised at how strong they seemed when I unwrapped them. Colors as in the photo from the phone. The size is pretty TTS. Would definitely buy again.

Pros
  • The shoes have a comfortable fit that offers maximum support to the foot while walking.
Cons
  • The limited cushioning of the outsole can be uncomfortable on long hikes.

Merrell quality in my review.

Bought these for my son and he loves them. They withstand very well the combat tests to which they are subjected by children. I will order them again

Pros
  • My son likes these. Seems to be holding up well so far. He can be tough with his shoes.
Cons
  • Not suitable for adults with large feet

Proof Boy: My review

My son loves these shoes. In contrast to other brands, they are in very good condition. I will definitely be using this brand from now on.

Pros
  • I struggled to find half sizes for my child but they fit perfectly and are very comfortable!
Cons
  • Limited shelf life as intended for children.

Not hard enough in my opinion.

My son wore his toes in 4 days! Knowing Merril is tough I decided to try them but no, they were just as cheap as the name brands.

Pros
  • The shoes are available in large sizes for men and women, so people of all sizes can enjoy the benefits of these shoes.
Cons
  • May not provide adequate toe protection on rocky terrain.

Dear Merrell for my rude boy!

Merrell makes quality shoes that can handle my exuberant boy. This is my second pair in this style and he and I love them! No holes, no scuffs - it just grows out!

Pros
  • The shoes have a secure lace closure that fits snugly to the foot and prevents slipping.
Cons
  • Can be difficult to break in due to stiff soles

Daughter wore 30 miles on foot and still looks great

My daughter wore them on a hike where we did 30 miles and the profile still looks great. The black/rust color scheme may not appeal to all consumers! She said they were comfortable.

Pros
  • Seems to last up to 8 years as a school shoe.
Cons
  • The black/rusty color scheme may not appeal to all consumers.

Great lightweight walking shoes

A bit pricey but the perfect shoe for an outdoor summer camp. The shoes feel like they will last a while - the stitching and sole are high quality.

Pros
  • The lightweight construction makes this shoe ideal for long hikes and outdoor activities.
Cons
  • Not suitable for wider feet that require more room in the shoe.

Revainrating 4 out of 5

This shoe runs a bit small for its width.

My grandson has wide flat feet. We had to replace his previous Merrell shoes due to wear and tear. These shoes (another Merrells model) fit his foot perfectly. This model is denser. The local shoe store didn't stock better shoes, but they sold an orthotic with a thinner foot pad than the orthotics we use. That additional $45 purchase turned this cheap shoe into a more expensive purchase.

Pros
  • Men
Cons
  • I don't remember, but there was something

Adults can wear children's sizes

Children's shoes were significantly cheaper. I wear a 7 for adults so I usually wear a 5 for kids. These were sold out. I bought the 4.5 wide side hoping it would make up half the size difference and they were perfect. One of the shoes was rubbing against my ankle and I didn't know if I could wear them any longer, but after the third time they had worn enough and felt good. Also, the ankle that the shoe rubbed on was previously broken, so the initial discomfort was probably ankle + hard shoe…

Pros
  • Outdoor
Cons
  • Power socket required

Attention buyers - not waterproof as advertised

Although the product name says "Merrell OAKCREK Low LACE Waterproof Hiking Boots, Black/Rust, 4 Unisex for Big US Kids", these shoes are not waterproof or even waterproof. stubborn. After my son's feet got wet five minutes after his first hike in these boots, I went back to re-read the product description. The title says the shoe is waterproof but the description in the fine print says it is not. I should have read more carefully before buying but shame on Revain for the false advertising.

Pros
  • Hiking & Trekking
Cons
  • Ugly packaging
