I'm in love with coffee machines

! I hate bitter coffee. I love a cold drink with ice. I've tried making my own using a French press, cheesecloth, and string tied coffee filters - nothing works quite like that. As far as I know, this is the best filter out there. It leaves no ZERO thickness/sludge at the bottom of the container. Every drop in my morning cup is amazing, better than my favorite coffee shop. Just buy them now.

These things work (UPDATE - 0723/2021)

Glory! These things really work. You have solved the "sludge" problem in my Oxo Cold Coffee Brewer. 10 ounces of coarse coffee (3.5 cups) took 4 brew bags (last 3/4 full). They were soaked for 24 hours with occasional gentle shaking and then drained. A gentle squeeze added nearly 1/4 cup of flavor to the carafe. There is less than a teaspoon (i.e. sediment) left in the brew tank. Yield increased from 2.5 cups to just over 4 cups. Sometimes the simplest solutions work best. (UPDATE - 0723/2021)…

Best Cold Brew Filters

Buy These Seriously! They really are NO-MESS. We've been using them for a few months now and they're amazing. We use these filters to brew 1/2 gallon of cold beverage at a time. Using a no-mess "personal size" filter, we take 12 tablespoons of ground coffee (any grind size will work with this narrow strainer, be it very fine), tie it up and toss it in a half-gallon glass; Fill the jar with cold water, close the lid of the jar and let it "brew” on the table for a day. Then just take the filter…

The best way I've found to make a cold drink.

For many years I have been trying to figure out how best to make a cold drink that is good enough that my wife and I wouldn't buy it at the local coffee shop. I started with an expensive glass carafe with a built-in strainer. The desired quantity could not be produced and the coffee always had dirt on the bottom. Then I bought a large 60 ounce sealed jar and used reusable canvas bags. The volume was good and the coffee was ok but still quite dirty. Also, the pockets were very difficult to…

That's a bomb!

This is amazing! It's cheaper to brew at home than to buy, and you can adjust the strength to your liking! This week I brewed about 8 liters of cold beer. 1 liter is enough for two coffees with our thermos flask. All you need is: • 32 oz wide mouth jars • These bags - make sure you tie the bag tightly so the ground coffee doesn't spill into the jar and leave extra string over the top Hang jar before screwing on lid • Filtered Water - Fill jar but leave some space when adding bag or jar will…

Pros
  • Wide range
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Delicious coffee and a tip on how to quickly put coffee grounds in a bag

I love simple and light things. My old cold brew coffee maker made delicious coffee but what a mess it was to remove all the soil that was pressed at the bottom and stuck in the strainer. With these filter bags you get equally delicious coffee without cleaning; Simply discard the brewing bag after squeezing it like a tea bag. Chill the concentrated coffee and when you're ready for a great cup of coffee, dilute it with milk or water as you like. Coffee concentrate will keep in the fridge for up…

Saves me a lot of time!

Well, I've been making cold coffee myself for about a year. I started with a smaller amount and then increased it until I was brewing about a gallon a week. Grinding and brewing coffee is easy, but filtering is time-consuming. I filtered a smaller amount through a 2 liter French press and then tried this out, adding cheesecloth and then wringing it out and using a kitchen towel. Anything to try and clear the remaining mud. The tea towel worked best but there was a waste loss as the coffee…

Facilitates the handling of a clear batch of cold drinks. —FIXED—

These packs saved me the trouble of making iced coffee concentrate at home. I like that they are strong enough to withstand a full load and remain tear free as the coffee grounds soak up and soak up water. They give me a clean finish when I take them out of the liquid and they break down in the compost bin. The only issue I have with them is that the instructions for use say they should be filled with a cup of coffee grounds, but they don't quite fit. 😕 I filled them to a capacity closer to…
