Uses these on the rear door speakers on my 06 Silverado 4 door. I installed 6.5" Rockford Fosgate woofers but they were too low. Used them and trimmed an area on the inner door panel to fit the speakers.

I ordered a pair to test. Worked great when I replaced factory installed 5" full range speakers in my touring trailer with 6 1/2" 3 way speakers. Ordered two more pairs to replace the remaining factory speakers.

I had some speakers I was planning to install in my car (Pioneer TS-D65C) that were too deep when installed and worked great to allow enough space for my car to accomplish. the window goes all the way down. My only complaint is that in order for my speaker to fit properly, I had to use wire cutters to cut off the inner tabs to allow the speaker to fit.
