Michael Harding Starter 40Ml Tubes Review

Recommended by professional portrait painters of the American Society of Portrait Painters. Thought I'd try an introductory set before ordering more colors. It took a long time, but everything came as promised.

I prefer this to the Winsor Newton artist oils and the choice of colors in the starter set is excellent. It's great to see that the company offers a range of colors that you can actually use as a base for your palette.

After using winton oils that were too thick and dull, Michael Harding paint is a comparative treat, the oily consistency is much easier to apply. Canvas (no media to add) and vibrant colors. I just want the starter kit to be black. But I'm so glad to get a nice tube of burnt umber and I'm glad they sent an extra tube of titanium white.
