🚴 MICHELIN C2 Airstop 26 Inch: Premium Quality Inner Tube for Superior Performance Review

I live in the desert; Tires only deflate when exposed to the sun (very harsh conditions). I tried many brands and finally settled on a well known brand and it paid off. The bike is still holding pressure after 3 months of installation (before going flat at 15 days) and I'm using it full width (1.5 inches with tire).

I tried the Avenir whistle but the result was terrible. This tube is the best I have found of its kind. Last year I drove nearly 6,000 miles through rural Maine. Especially in bad weather or in winter, apartments in the middle of nowhere are such a problem. Avenir whistles have shaft problems, these do not. Who cares what can make a difference on a long haul trip.

I bought these for my Trek mountain bike. I put narrow Ritchey street tires on. I bike daily (10 miles a day) and figured road tires would help. I did a test ride the night before (1 mile) and then parked my bike. In the morning the tire was flat and I found a strange hole. I refitted my mountain bike tires for my morning commute (I don't have a car) and emailed the company (ExcelCycle) and they sent me a replacement inner tube. I am very happy with ExcelCycle but not happy with this product.

I was converting my mountain bike into a city bike and needed 26 x 1.5 inch narrow high pressure slicks. 80psi with them and it works great with my gauge Presta floor pump (my Schraeder valve bike pump didn't have a gauge). and I'm ready to go! I think this is a great purchase for my particular application.
