I have a great laptop but for some reason the built in cameras in computers always leave something to be desired. Now that I do a lot of remote meetings via Zoom, I decided to try the standalone camera. I have to say I'm very impressed with the video quality, it's very clear and the built in light is a great feature. I look forward to using it at my next meeting. I also like the magnetic camera cover.

I'm as shocked as you are but yes a true 1080p60 webcam. Not 1080p30 OR 720p60, REALLY 1080p60. However, there is only one condition: the frame rate drops when the camera has to constantly adjust the exposure due to poor lighting. When you have good lighting and the camera doesn't have to constantly adjust exposure, it runs at 60 frames per second. If you don't turn 60, make sure you stay lit at all times!

I have tried various webcams including some with a built in ring light. This one is a lot brighter than the others and I love that it also has different light temperatures. It has 2 warm lights and 1 cold light, you just click on the top of the camera to choose what you prefer or nothing at all. You can't just rely on recessed lighting, so you need ambient light, be it interior lighting or sunlight through some windows. Autofocus can take some effort, but like in low light, it can take forever…

Of the three webcams we own, this is definitely the best quality. One feature I appreciate the most about this camera is the magnetic cover. For us, that's huge. I also appreciate the extra light. Helps a lot in the evening. Our overhead light is fine, but the extra light provided by the camera makes a huge difference to the image. This webcam has multiple settings. But I think I'd like to see more software that offers more features, like the ability to zoom in and out with a single click…

As I sometimes work from home my computer speakers/mic weren't enough so I bought this webcam for many Teams & Zooms meetings I attend. PROS: - very good video quality and most importantly for 49.99 (I paid 69.99) - there is a magnetic cover (that's a dust magnet, no pun intended so I would keep the cover in a clean place when not in use) - USB cable approx 3 1/2 to 4 feet VS: - Light makes a difference but it doesn't illuminate anything further than 8-10 inches very well. I still had to use the main light for my meetings to get decent picture quality, and I'm sitting about a foot and a half from the monitor where it's cropped.
