Description of Microscope Students 40X 1000X Chargable Monocular

【Optics】All-glass optics and variable-intensity cool LED illumination offer the magnification required for Elementary and Middle School students. A wide field WF10x and WF20x eyepiece combines with three achromatic objective lenses, 4x, 10x and 40x to provide magnification of 40x, 100x, 250x, 400x and 1000x. You can reveal a great amount of detail in samples and find an incredible view of the world that would be impossible to explore with the naked eye. 【Stage & Focus】A large, flat top stage offers two slide clips to secure specimen slides. Rack and pinion focus includes coaxial coarse/fine controls that are dual-sided for convenience and sized for smaller hands. The precision fine and coarse focusing brings specimens into focus quickly and sharply, making your all-around microscopic experience all-around awesome. A rack stop and slip clutch offer protection against inadvertent damage to microscope objectives or slides. 【Illumination】6-hole disc diaphragm to adjust light for best resolution. LED llumination is provided by 3 AA batteries with cooler, brighter illumination than the standard tungsten that most microscopes. The LED system ensures a long battery life, making it ideal for those extended field trips. With variable-intensity LED illumination you'll enjoy more flexibility for viewing greater specimen variety. A conventional power cord is also included. 【Head】The LED Student Biological Compound Microscope includes a microscope head inclined at an ergonomic 45 degrees. The head rotates 360 degrees comprehensive view and reduces eye and neck strain. This feature makes the microscope suitable for long-term use such as teaching demonstrations, and laboratory purposes. 【Practical Educational Tool 】The sturdy and reliable mechanical construction of this compound microscope is designed to withstand the rigor of heavy classroom use; it is truly a tool and an investment that will last a lifetime. Added benefits include 10 FREE slides( 5 blank and 5 prepared), prepared slides designed to stimulate the imagination of children - and adults alike! Disappointing Quality, Poor Electronics

As a result of using this product, I found that the quality was extremely disappointing and the electronics were very poor... The microscope did not even reach the advertised magnification and the camera attachment was practically unusable. THE only positive was the convenience of the charger. However, it`s not worth the purchase as there are many better alternatives available..

Pros
  • Chargable, so no need for batteries.
Cons
  • Limited magnification range (40X-1000X).

Little scientists will love this!

Our son wanted a "real microscope" so that he could REALLY see his slides. I did a lot of research and finally decided on this one. It's perfect for the aspiring K-1-2 scientist! It's crystal clear and shows detail unlike some more childish models. We ordered slides from National Geographic for this and it was a good choice. It was packaged so nicely that it was easy to open. With a few simple tweaks, our little scientist was zipping through the slides in no time. The light is perfect so you…
