Vegetables always cooked to perfection

I always steam vegetables in a metal steamer. A few minutes can really make a difference in how they turn out anyway. You can't guess with this glass microwave steamer. Fresh veggies, 3 tablespoons of water, and 4 minutes is perfect.

SOLID SUPER BOWL in small tools

AMAZING PRODUCT. I plan to buy many more of these. Heck, I could start selling these. jokingly. But it's a great product that works very, very well. Does a great job cooking my wife's veggies, especially on the way to the floor as it hasn't broken once in all the many falls. A+++++ RATING

Excellent Microwave Steamer

I've only used it twice but I'm very impressed with it! The design is ingeniously simple. Bowl and lid are well made. 4 minutes for asparagus and green beans was perfect and the dish is attractive enough to serve. A bit pricey maybe, but I expect to use it almost every day for many years, so I think it's worth it.

The holes are too big for small vegetables.

I am sorry that this product is not working properly. It's durable, has excellent handles, glass (so it can be put in the microwave), it's easy to clean in the dishwasher. But for steaming and drying peas and corn (the main reason we bought this) it is not suitable. If you try to strain the water, all the veggies will fall out as well. I bought it as a gift for a friend and her family and they couldn't find anything better than their old style.
