When I went to replace it I found a connection on the built in fuse, the wire came out of the fuse box and was broken. The lightbar was easy to install. It was plug and play for everything except the tail light. So I turned on the reverse lights. I used a hair dryer to heat the tape so it sticks to the truck. I just installed May 11th and will post any problems I may have. The only issue I had was that I had a hitch light that connected to the hitch splitter. Easy installation but much easier if you can remove the tailgate. The LEDs are clean and bright and I'm really impressed with the case. The entire light strip is fully covered with durable waterproof rubber. As for the cables, I would recommend buying a heat shield or cable protector depending on how your cables sit on your car. So first the price. It's cheap, but you get a great product at a great price. I love this light bar. I am currently hyper flashing due to the LEDs in the headlights and the lack of resistors so the turn signals cannot fully function. I think this is important to note as it hasn't been mentioned anywhere I've seen it. Instead of the usual amber color, it flashes red in sync with the turn signals. This is my honest and unbiased review. I received this product yesterday and proceeded with the installation as soon as I got home. I'll go straight to the optics and quality. The LED on the strip has a very clear and bright color. No LEDs are missing and everything works perfectly. The strip appears to be filled with some sort of black epoxy or sealant along with a plastic cap to keep water or moisture out. I have one of these installed but it's older and I wanted to upgrade to one with no gaps in the headlights. Firstly, the connector does not readily fit into the standard. trailer connector. I wanted to hook it up because the F150 disables BLIS when you use a trailer fork, so that was minor for me but might be major for others.
