Description of πŸ”§ Migiwata Fractional Cobalt Steel Twist: Precision and Durability for Optimal Performance

COBALT STEEL - Manufactured from M35 grade cobalt steel, with molybdenum and cobalt added to creates a hardened alloy, measuring Rockwell hardness up to 67, for much faster cutting and extra longer life span, ideal for repeated drilling in metalworking. FOR METALWORKING - Particularly successful in cutting through hard metals(hardness less than HRC38Β°) such as stainless steel and cast iron, although they can be used for softer materials like copper and aluminium, too. Not for hardened steel / high carbon steel. Try to adjust the RPM when it fails to penetrate. SELF CENTERING - The 135Β° quick-cut pilot split points are self-centering and can penetrate quickly with less pressure. The bits will not "walk" or "wander". Straight shank allows for firmly holding and accurate centering, fit for standard drill chucks and regular round collet chucks. 10PC SET - The set includes 10pcs of 1/4” diameter M35 grade cobalt steel twist drill bits, packed in a plastic case for easy storage and carrying. Manufactured to German DIN338 standard. DOWNLOADABLE USER GUIDE - We've summed up some tips of drilling metals, including a RPM chart for several common metals, based on our reviews and some articles on the internet. In most cases, our customers would get a much better result with these tips. Welcome to download.

Will not cut hardened stainless steel

I needed this size fast so didn't use my usual supplier. With the right drill speed and coolant, the first one moved forward a bit, the second just sort of rotated in the hole, so I used the largest of my good cobalt drill bits to drill the through hole. After going back to them and pushing too hard on the drill, I think the third pack out of five finally managed to burn through more than cut a hole. I was drilling in 1/16" hardened steel. I used my good cobalt bits to drill smaller holes in…

Purdy fits cheap drill bits

I bought these for drilling 100 1/4" diameter holes in galvanized steel pipe where oiling the bit was impractical and I did it didn't want to risk "good" drills. I figured there was a pretty good chance I'd end up breaking the edge of the cutting face, chipping, or just snapping the whole piece a couple of times by drilling the Hole hitting the concave inner surface. on the other side of the pipe Aside from some scuffed finish and a spinning shank on one of the bits (which still cuts well)…

Pros
  • Power tool parts and accessories
Cons
  • Cord is shorter than other picks

1 piece over 10+ feet of oak!

I have 116 3/4" solid oak nightstands and drawers that can be fitted with pull rods and handles, a total of 166 holes I had to drill. I bought a set of 10 3/16 bits and hoped I could use them to drill all the holes. The first drill made 3/4 perfect holes in very hard oak. I finished everything in the kitchen and the drill still drilled great, I kept going from room to room and floor to floor wondering when I would need to replace the drill. I made all 166 holes in 3/4 thick solid oak with the…
