Description of 🔧 Migiwata Cobalt Steel Twist Cutting Tools in Industrial Drill Bits with Fractional Features

COBALT STEEL - Manufactured from M35 grade cobalt steel, with molybdenum and cobalt added to creates a hardened alloy, measuring Rockwell hardness up to 67, for much faster cutting and extra longer life span, ideal for repeated drilling in metalworking. FOR METALWORKING - Particularly successful in cutting through hard metals(hardness less than HRC38°) such as stainless steel and cast iron, although they can be used for softer materials like copper and aluminium, too. Not for hardened steel / high carbon steel. Try to adjust the RPM when it fails to penetrate. SELF CENTERING - The 135°quick-cut pilot split points are self-centering and can penetrate quickly with less pressure. The bits will not "walk" or "wander". Straight shank allows for firmly holding and accurate centering, fit for standard drill chucks and regular round collet chucks. 2PC SET - The set includes 2pcs of 1/2” diameter fractional inch size M35 grade cobalt steel twist drill bits. Total lenght: 5.98 inch; working length: 4.49 inch. Manufactured to German DIN338 standard. Packed in a plastic bag and a flat paper box. DOWNLOADABLE USER GUIDE - We've summed up some tips of drilling metals, including a RPM chart for several common metals, based on our reviews and some articles on the internet. In most cases, our customers would get a much better result with these tips. Welcome to download.

Good Drill - Jobber Drills

I bought two pieces of 1/2" drill bit for a project that required drilling 40 holes in 1018 steel that was 1/2" to 2" thick. The Drill ran oiled while cutting at 390rpm and cleaned the shavings with compressed air. Good clean holes for the whole project from one drill. No pilot holes were used, the split tip did the job. In the end I was pleasantly surprised with that Chisel. The project is complete and the chisel is still sharpened at the factory.I would buy this tool again, great tool at a…

Very pleasantly surprised by the durability of these bits.

I had to drill 32 3/8" holes in 3/8" steel. I bought five packs of these bits and expected to have to use a new bit every 8 holes (roughly or less). Me didn't drill pilot holes, just punched and drilled through the steel in the center.I ran my drill press at 760rpm and applied cutting fluid before starting each hole, removing the cuttings each time (about six times per hole ).I didn't apply much pressure, just enough to turn the short steel coils. I was able to drill all 32 holes with ONE…

The right size for the right thread

I ordered these bits to work with custom tools. My client bought one of the very first Shopsmith lathes to ever roll off the assembly line just after WWII. The spindle size on each lathe made from this first experimental model is 5/8 inch 20 TPI (threads per inch), but on this first model they machined 1/2 inch 24 TPI hardened drill stock. Customer needs adapter for coupling f 1/2” 24 t/d to m1” 8 t/d. After checking the recommended bit size for the threaded hole, I ordered these bits. They are
