A reliable choice for multiple WAN configuration ports.

If you're a techie, this is a solid alternative to the Ubiquity edge router, especially if it's currently difficult to find in stock. The only downside for those who aren't tech savvy is that the GUI isn't that intuitive. But when it comes to functionality, this product is a solid choice and does the job if you know what you're doing. Keep in mind that not all ports on this model are gigabit, you get 5) 1GB ports and 5) 100MB ports.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • No instructions

For a competent administrator with good knowledge of networking, these things and the rest of the MikroTik/RouterOS ecology add up to a complex and powerful set of tools for building a network.
