I have not regretted the purchase, everything is fine.

A good router, which eventually managed to find a use - controls the Internet in an apartment for a couple with a yubik plate. It sits in a cabinet closed with a door. For six months of work, there are no complaints: the temperature is 52-53 degrees, there were no failures, there were no freezes. If the standard firmware supported OpenVPN in addition to IPSec, by golly, I would put five stars.

Pros
  • This is Mikrotik. With a web interface and everything
Cons
  • 1) Flashing to OpenWRT did not really work - I had to return RouterOS 2) In the current version of the RouterOS firmware, the wifi console does not work (white whistle Woobm-USB) I had to do a downgrade 3) Not supported by GPON operators

Convenient POE. Pros: The functionality of the firmware is the same as the older "brothers" in Mikrotik. Reliability, stability. The device itself offers maximum SOHO functionality for minimum money. With its cons: Yes, the firmware takes some getting used to. Right out of the box it probably won't work as it should. Although I am an advanced user, I asked the admin for help.

A valuable purchase, some advantages!

Genuine and unbiased opinion.Has pros: Price and features, good thing is hardware encryption. Has cons: Weak iron, but for this money it's a sin to expect more.

Excellent quality, absolutely not expected for such a price.

The introduction of quick setup lowered the entry threshold to the level of a provider installer. A very flexible thing, geeks will like it, and God himself ordered the paranoid. Has some pros: He's uh. Gorgeous. I didn’t even put it anywhere at home. sfp and copper, according to the speedtest, gave out an honest gig (those 900+) Different cons: Follow from the merits - it is easy to forget how the topology works.

The right product for me, there were no problems.

Has pros: A good gigabit router, support for hardware IPSEC, dude, external storage on microsd. Cons below: In this model, the SFP only works on gigabit, despite the fact that the S-RJ01 module can 10/100/1000. It was an unpleasant surprise, especially that everything worked in the RB960PGS.

I was surprised by the quality for the price.

Replaced this model RB750Gr2. The problem arose that he could not cope with the announcement of BGP for more than 40k routes, and the RKN banned almost 400k. This model holds 200k very well (I haven't tried any more, but the CPU load is ~20%).

Good product, good quality, not bad.

Pros: Reliable as a Kalashnikov assault rifle. If properly configured, it can work for months without user intervention. Enough space for a small office Different cons: Requires at least basic knowledge of RouterOS and for a beginner it will be difficult to set up

A really necessary purchase, glad I found this product.

With its pros. - Proven speed of 36 MB/s (nearly 300 Mb/s!) Site-to-Site IPsec IKEv2 VPN - "million" adult options, if anything, for the future - tiny - nimble and lightweight winbox Cons: - there were unated guides on my task on the official wiki. I had to bring to mind the "poke" method

Practical product, nothing to complain about.

I took this router to replace the RB962 (Hap AC), as it began to connect and periodically disconnect ethernet interfaces, followed by connecting them at low speeds. WiFi was not needed, so it was turned off, used as a router receiving Internet from three providers. All equipment is located on my balcony, in a 6u telecom cabinet. The air temperature on the balcony was 32.5 for hap ac and 33.5 for hex s. The router settings are identical. The photo shows that hex s is much hotter (by 8 degrees)…

Pros
  • microSD, SFP, price, appearance
Cons
  • Gets hot

Good quality product, the price is commensurate with the quality.

Works in tandem with hAP ac ^ 2 as the main router: distributes power for WiFi, Internet, IP addresses and serves as a firewall. Out of the box, ports are in Stealth mode, which solves most paranoid headaches. But after the launch of the entire network, it would be good to go through potential "holes" and take action. Inside the network, I have an honest gigabit between devices via cable and an average of 480-500 Mbit via WiFi; tariff for 100 Mbps according to tests - 98 input / output. As a…

Pros
  • Quick setup. Power over Ethernet - 32 meters powered hAP ac ^ 2 without any problems - although I read that there are difficulties in long distances (like it works on the table, in "production" - no). The power is again configured via Winbox. Having a choice when setting up: RouterOS, Winbox, MikroTik iOS or Terminal.
Cons
  • Releasing USB 2.0 in 2022 is not an idea.

Good product at a good price, I recommend to try it.

As I understand it, the claims are no longer about this model, but about a completely strange hardware incompatibility of Mikrotik devices of different generations, if you want to configure CAPsMAN, then be sure to buy NEW Mikrotik devices of fresh model years, used Mikrotik devices are very capricious, I have a lot of them in use RB951Ui-2HnD here's what happens to them: ports burn out, when ating to new versions, the device may "brick" - i. E. completely die and attempts to restore the…

Pros
  • Fast processor (2 pcs), gigabit on all ports, not heated, PoE on one port
Cons
  • Eternal problems with CAPsMAN - on firmware 6.47.7 it does not work with old points, or rather not like this: old Mikrotik access points do not work with it via CAPsMAN, if without this protocol everything works

I like the product very much, fully consistent with my expectations.

Despite the size and price, this baby is a full-fledged Mikrotik router with RouterOS on board. Calmly holds gigabit, allows you to set up a grid with the 80th level of perversion and squeak a melody from SuperMarioBros on the built-in speaker. For those who are not IT-professionals, there is a "quick setup" function, but if you use only it, you do not use the device even by 10%.

Pros
  • Price Flexibility PoE SFP
Cons
  • Not for all.

Revainrating 4 out of 5

It is of good quality, but I won't buy it again.

Who slows down with fasttrack - turn off fasttrack sometimes faster without it than with it. Now, without fasttrack, it shows 700 Mbit / s for 2 providers - the maximum that can be squeezed out of them. When it cost 5k it was great, now 15k is too much. Some pros: For the price of a device "for home" you get a solution for business (for small loads, of course). All the advantages of RouterOS: Settings allow almost anything. Dual WAN - easy to set up. PBR - works. Settings on the WEB or using…

Just super, the product is made wonderfully, very satisfied.

For those who are not in the tank and have at least slightly straight arms - must have, it’s better for such grandmas I haven’t found anything yet (except for the version without poe out and sfp) Got pros: Just HEX, and even with PoE output and SFP port, what else do you need? The whole range of routeros with decent cpu power, but for that kind of money? Give me two!1! Some cons: Can heat up slightly under heavy load (up to 70 degrees in a room 25 without airflow), but that's forgivable for…

Everything in the product suited me, the price is generally perfect.

Great "head" for use at home or in a small office! Definitely the best in its class in terms of price / quality ratio. As already written a lot, RouterOS is not for the average user, but if you want to dig deeper for a couple of days, read the forums, then a very useful thing will help you understand and understand "how these grids of yours work." By the way, if your IP is distributed via DHCP from your provider, then you won’t need to dance with a tambourine, QuickSet will hook everything and…

Pros
  • - gigabit on all ports - stability - clean router without WiFi - good processor - decent amount of RAM - small dimensions
Cons
  • - passive PoE - USB 2.0

The right product for me, there were no problems.

I'm not a professional in the field of networking, but I needed flexibility, and it's very difficult to make out everything, but the Internet is full of video instructions. You can implement almost everything, ordinary routers will not let you do this. Though vpn that works on a specific website, even a firewall, for those who have a server in the Internet looks.

Pros
  • Flexible setup Acceptable price Performance Customize what you want
Cons
  • The complexity of the first setting, but for beginners it is a real horror.

Best price for this product, will buy more!

Setting - yes. If you are used to the Internet - plugged in the cable and it works / logged into Wi-Fi and it works, take asus / dlink / tplink / keenetic etc. with MikroTik, everything is a little more complicated. Consider your PC and you need to install and configure the OS on it yourself. Cons - time / googling / resets / a couple of hours (some days). Pluses - yes, we can implement any nonsense of an inflamed mind: you need a separate home network with a file washer and traffic priority to

Pros
  • Price. Possibilities for configuration. Dimensions. Execution. Materials. color palette. SOUND ON.
Cons
  • They simply do not exist (configuration is a separate topic)
