Good size as it fits in my children's book bags and doesn't catch on the bristles or take up a lot of space. I'm looking forward to donating a stocking this year so I'll update it after my kid has used it a few times. I'm currently only giving it four stars instead of five because I received the wrong color. I ordered lavender and the label says lavender but the brush itself is mint green.

It is very cute and fun. Makes a great gift or stocking for Christmas. It was slightly larger than I expected and took up most of my palm, but still perfect for keeping in my purse and using on the go.

I bought one of these for my little one because her hair is thin and gets tangled easily. I once had a Tangle teaser from Sephora that I really liked, but we lost it. I would definitely say that this is not suitable for all hair types, my hair is thick and curly/wavy and the bristles hardly come through through the top layer of my hair. Hair. So be ready to part your hair to comb everything. Overall this is a pretty good travel brush, don't worry about it collapsing on its own like other compact brushes, and the compact brush separates from the brush so you can see what you're doing.

This is a regular brush. The size is about the same as my regular brush just without the handle. For travel use, it is good with a mirror and it can be closed and kept clean. Otherwise it's not worth it. I just pack my normal brush in my toiletry bag. Unless your regular brush is too big or you always need a mirror to comb your hair, I don't think it's worth the extra money.
