🔧 Milwaukee 2646-20 M18 2-Speed Grease Gun: Powerful Bare Tool for Efficient Lubrication Review

Recently my grease gun fell out of my excavator cab, I didn't realize it until the end of the day after I picked it up and put it in a truck with 50 tons of rock. It went through a rock crusher pile and eventually got stuck on the magnet of another crusher. After removing it, I disassembled it, cleaned the engine from stone dust and it still works. As for pistols not picking up refills, I just figured out how to fix that by pushing the plunger down while holding the trigger. I hope this helps…

Milwaukee does great things. They use good electric motors and their tools survive a fall and keep running. However, your grease gun tubes are real port cargo. I had trouble loading or filling new tubes, I was running low on stock. The pressure was great, but the volume lessened that effect on his performance. My pipe exploded lol. Piston, clip and washer flew out. Spring was over and it was a flea market for hose parts. I had a Lincoln probe with a hand pump. And that alone solved my problems.

I work as a maintenance technician for wineries. Together with me and another technician we make about 1000 grease pumps a day. All of our power tools are 18 volt Milwaukee fuel, so I was confident that this grease gun would perform as well as any other Milwaukee tool. You have no feedback or way to tell if lube is arriving. I was having trouble sticking the grease butt. It costs a lot of money to maintain, I can't trust this grease gun so now it's sitting on the bottom shelf collecting dust…

This is actually the second one I've bought. I use several different (and incompatible) lubes on the equipment I service, so now I have 2 that I use. This made maintenance a lot easier and after a year the first one was holding up well. I chose this model because the battery pack is interchangeable with my other gear (I have several other Milwaukee 18V tools). I wasn't disappointed by any of them.
