Improved Engine Performance with Mishimoto Baffled Car Filter

As my tests showed, installing this car filter significantly improved the horsepower and torque output of my car`s engine .The filter's design effectively traps oil and prevents it from entering the intake system thereby minimizing carbon buildup and prolonging engine life. The only downside is that the installation process may require professional assistance for some car owners..

Pros
  • Improved engine performance, effective oil filtration, prolongs engine life
Cons
  • Installation may require professional assistance

welds well for crankcase ventilation

Just bought this item for my wrx and this item was dead on arrival. The lid appears to be welded on. I tried a leather-handled vise and everything I could think of and this thing wouldn't budge. If this thing won't open in a vise, forget opening it while it's in the car. As it stands, the product will do more harm than good if you can't empty it, which is why I'm giving it one star. There must have been some quality control when you're paying over $200 for this thing.

Pros
  • crankcase ventilation
Cons
  • reliability
