Great boot set, very well made for heavy duty use compared to factory originals, at least 3 times thicker, very high quality.

These boots were purchased to replace a standard Ford boot, one of which had split. They are at least three times thicker than standard panels and very easy to install.

You MUST ensure you clean metal parts with Clean Brake and no oil. Make sure that the new oil seal is correctly inserted into the metal groove and that the oil seal "seats", otherwise it will come loose under the pressure of the turbine!

GREAT replacement for turbochargers. Look no further but aesthetically with all the logos on the boots it would be better if they were printed where you could see them when fitted. The clips cover everything and look like the original boots. You really can't show them. But you can be sure that they will not explode.

I've been installing them on my Powerstoke diesel for a little over 2 years. They only have about 15,000 km. They left me stranded with my five wheel trailer. One of the boots was completely broken. The rest falls apart from within. Now they tell me I have to pay $40 for replacement shipping! That's ridiculous. You can also buy it from a Ford dealer.

For years I had problems with Ford factory boots that blew me and my wife away. Not to mention the breakage costs. I installed these babies and have never had a single problem since and now I don't even think about them exploding under pressure. They are very thick and very well made. There were some issues installing the clamps, so I had to use a couple of factory clamps. But the fault was the boot, not the clip, so I had no problem reusing the clips on two ends. money well spent.

I used it to replace worn and torn OEM shoes on my 6.4 PowerStroke. The shoes themselves fit great and work well (after 10 months). The clamps are of high quality, but could do with a few more threads on the screw. I had to remove the nut completely to widen the yoke enough to fit the boot, but then had trouble getting the nut back on the bolt. After this was done, everything worked fine. While this may seem like a small thing, it would be nice if the stickers didn't close once installed…

I would give this set of boots 5 stars because they are much thicker than factory parts. That was until I checked things under my truck before the ride and the hot side bottom hose fell apart. I contacted Mishimoto immediately and they went through the warranty process with me. After a week of negotiations, it was finally said that the part would be shipped in six weeks! Ridiculous 6 weeks right? And to stick my nose in even more, I have to pay shipping. In the future I will find another…
