This magnetic plug is durable. I have done 3 oil changes (4-5k miles on synthetic) on a 15 year old Toyota and Honda. There's also some "lint" at the end (You won't feel a thing. More like graphite. Not exactly the amount of cotton wool that's on a cotton swab). It DEFINITELY catches the metal circulating in the oil before it gets to the filter. Allows the filter to work better and last longer. BUY IT!

So I wanted a magnetic drain plug for my 2013 Duramax. I saw this product and decided to try it. When changing the oil, I noticed that it does not rotate to the end. I didn't want to risk it and asked for a refund. It seems I have to pay shipping if I want a refund. . . For me it is not worth returning less than 20€.
