Perfect fit for Porsche 996

Place in my Porsche 996 hoping to catch the parts of my upcoming IMS bearing failure. Fits perfectly, doesn't leak. Very handy as standard Mahle filters don't come with copper washers. I also like to use a socket instead of an Allen key.

Pros
  • Performance parts and accessories
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

NOT for 6.7 Cummins!

2014 RAM 2500 6.7L Diesel. This is my second and both are leaking! I haven't even started my truck and there's a puddle in the driveway. This is obviously a "universal" connector M18x1.5. Mishimoto's website lists 15 ft/lbs of torque with their sloppy shim. Even "dressed" it still drips. This firm believer in aftermarket excellence buys another factory spark plug.

Pros
  • Oil drain plugs
Cons
  • Almost never

m18x1. 5 is odd even by metric standards. .

m18x1.5 is an oddball even by metric standards. I used this in a generator. I could not match the factory plug threads with any/any gauge I could find. Clasp didn't know what I was talking about as she approached them with a fork. it fits perfectly. One comment said they are plastic, mine has an aluminum body, powerful magnet, metal collar with a rubber liner for sealing. Thank you Mishimoto.

Need an external 24mm jack or ID, give 5 stars. .

Need an external 24mm socket or ID gives 5 stars. It doesn't spin inside or break when I read. this is bs Even if you read "I used a torque wrench" you can't use the same torque on a factory steel connector. I always tighten it and there has never been any leakage or loosening. I got this for the store but there is one with a steel plug. With aluminum, for example, you can check the tightness again after a run. Also, alum nuts can be stronger than steel and still hold wheels.

I love Mishimoto but this is bullshit. Warranty? Garbage.

I have used various Mishimoto products for many years and have found them to be excellent. This is a major disappointment in three areas: 1. Arrived broken in immaculate packaging. The magnet cracked. You might not even notice it unless you give it a slight tug when inspecting prior to installation. I assume the shock will be and the magnet will crack. Not suitable for vibration motors. Made in China, see pic 2. I have tried hand threading it into the oil pan of my 2014 Volvo XC90 but it seems…
