Unique socket and washer

14mm and 17mm oversized sockets come with a simple longer 24mm wrench and wear a metal rubber liner. Pan Do not rotate or use smaller heads/ratchets. I dressed in a cool pan with my hands and there was never a leak through the plugs. Used syn oil and VW Jetta TDI Volvo XC90 and Elantra.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Angers

great easy filtering addition to oil changes

This magnetic connector is built to last. I have done 3 oil changes (4-5k miles on synthetic) on a 15 year old Toyota and Honda. There's also some "lint" at the end (You won't feel a thing. More like graphite. Not exactly the amount of cotton wool that's on a cotton swab). It DEFINITELY catches the metal circulating in the oil before it gets to the filter. Allows the filter to work better and last longer. BUY IT!

Pros
  • Ideal for a small house
Cons
  • For an old

Easy to remove - powertrain and powertrain

Basically it goes well with my 02 WRX but threading it in has never been so good. Pull-ups have always been a real pain, which led to a second problem. This plug was really easy to over tighten which resulted in the threads coming loose on my last oil change. Luckily it didn't damage the oil pan so I was able to just put the original back in. Another downside is that you need a 24mm jack.

Pros
  • Best in niche
Cons
  • Some flaws

DO NOT BUY! - Transmission and Parts

Bought for my 370Z and first use went fine but on next oil change the head broke off leaving a threaded stem and magnet in my sump. I used a torque wrench set at 24 ft lbs (spec 22-29) and the wrench has yet to work on my torque setting. The head detached somewhere below the 24 ft-lb setting. With the car jacked up in the driveway and no oil in the engine, this could be a very expensive problem. Luckily, I was able to pry the broken stem out of the drain hole with my fingertip. Since I couldn't

Pros
  • Regular Price
Cons
  • Not bad

Complete and absolute bullshit.

Let me say up front that I was really excited about the benefits of a magnetic oil drain plug. However, this cork is complete nonsense. This thing is the cheapest, softest metal I've ever seen in an auto part. After the second oil change, the thread on this screw is completely cut off. I didn't notice it until the third oil change after installation. Why is that important? Because at some point between the second and third oil changes, this thing deteriorated to the point where my car was…

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Not sure
