AE86 Mishimoto cooler

High quality cooler for your AE86; It's a very thick heatsink, it's about 2 inches in the middle. It arrived very well packaged.

Great upgrade/replacement.

Excellent price, cooler as in the photo. Installed on a TE-72 van with a 4AG swap. I made an aluminum alloy bottom bracket with eyelets for the bottom racks and two aluminum clips with rubber on the sides. cleans the hood.

ae86 Mishimoto cooler

In fact, this is a real Mishimoto, there are no fakes here. Fill out the warranty card in the box and now the product has a free lifetime warranty. I noticed that the car got a little colder and warmed up faster. Very thick heatsink, you can't run it with a fan. 5 out of 5

Make sure the overflow fitting is not damaged to prevent the installation of a leaking product.

Good quality radiator but the quality of the overflow fitting was terrible. Due to damaged threads of the overflow fitting, the fitting was leaking everywhere. Luckily I had an old generic aluminum bike and solved the problem. Everything felt like high quality except my newly polished radiator, intercooler, turbo and most of my engine bay were dirty. There is also no magnetic drain plug like I thought.

Not suitable. fits radiator

I really, really like this radiator. The build quality looks fantastic and it looks like it will cool well. Trouble is, it doesn't even come close to the standard equipment Mishimoto claims. It's too wide and thick to fit in the standard position. I will definitely not 'mod' my car to fit a 'stock' radiator that needed a bit more testing before it could be sold at a premium price. This is simply unacceptable. And just in case I get the expected "You ordered the wrong thing" comments, I bought…

Will not fit without a small modification.

My original 4A-C radiator started leaking, the standard replacement from NAPA was $160 and the fact that I plan to build a 4A-GE which was replaced decided me Easy to buy this fairly stock. The standard mounting points look like they should work, but this conflicts with the bodywork. The plates next to the heatsink are folded back slightly to fit snugly against the edge of the standard heatsink and form a seal. As this heatsink is much thicker it will not fit these panels.
