Less than 2 years old

Mishimoto thermostat less than 2 years old. Stopped opening and stayed closed. I had to remove the thermostat to continue my trackday.

Thermostat BMW E36 for spares

Excellent quality thermostat but have chosen not to install it on my E36 sled as it is intended for track use rather than everyday light driving .

Cons

After a weekend on the track, the seals burst.

I installed it on my 97ft M3 for a race weekend and then decided to replace it with an OEM thermostat. The technician gave it back to me when I picked up my car and showed me that the gasket on the valve had fallen apart even after about a couple of days of driving.

Pros
  • Thermostats
Cons
  • I don't really like it, it's ok
