Description of Mitutoyo 547 500S Thickness Standard Resolution

Thickness gauge measures 0 to 0.47" (0 to 12mm) with 0.0005" resolution and + or - 0.001" accuracy, for measuring the thickness of sheet metal, plastic, or rubber workpieces. LCD screen displays in inches and metric units. Contact point and anvil have flat measuring faces and are ceramic for corrosion resistance. Grip handle, thumb trigger, and spring-loaded spindle for taking accurate measurements. Functions include origin setting and direction changeover.

Accurate and intuitive thickness measurement tool!

This product offers precision and efficiency making it a reliable choice for industrial and scientific professionals alike. the resolution is high and the results are consistent. The DESIGN is user-friendly and easy to operate, even for those who are not experienced in dimensional measurement .However, it can be quite pricey compared to other thickness measurement options on the market..

Revain manufacture/supply dates were much better than others for similar sensors

Bought two of these for work. Arrived with NIST certificates, received as expected and works as expected. Revain's lead times/delivery dates were much better than those of other suppliers for similar sensors. While this isn't the vendor you primarily think of as a vendor of such devices, we'll definitely look to Revain again should the need arise.
