Super convenient and easy to clean

I like that. They are very easy to remove. Just throw them in the washing machine. Boom is white as white again. I bought a second pair when they wore out.

Pros
  • Very light, perfect for running, good ventilation.
Cons
  • May not provide sufficient stability for lateral movement

The Best Wave Rider I've Ever Owned

The Wave Rider 22 Knit Shoe, also known as the WAVEKNIT R2, is an incredibly neutral running shoe. There's no hint of pinching anywhere on the upper thanks to the knitted design. The upper is also well ventilated, but not overly so. The cushioning is great. Definitely one of the softest yet most textured shocks I've experienced in a Wave Rider and I've been riding them in and out for over 10 years. The outsole has good dry traction on all surfaces from textured to smooth, so I expect them to…

Nothing beats the standard Wave Rider 22 shoe

I've had about 10 pairs of standard Wave Rider 22 shoes (not knitted) and I really like these shoes. I've been running exclusively on the Mizuno Wave Rider series for 15 years now. Thought I'd try the knitted version of the Wave Rider 22 and found it completely different. The Standard Wave Rider 22 provides great support and keeps my foot on the shoe's sockliner as I run. In the knitted version, my foot tends to move, which I believe is caused by the shoe's more flexible upper. Another issue is

  • Wave Knit for support and flexibility. Your foot stretches when you run, and so do your shoes.

Nothing like the previous Wave Rider series.

Let me start by saying that I have been wearing Mizuno's Wave Rider men's running shoes for 5 years. Every 12 months I go back to Revain and order the latest model, mainly because of the superior cushioning and foot support. Just as I did for the new 22 series a few days ago. What a disappointment.! After wearing them for a few days, I have pain that I have not experienced before. These shoes have a different cushion than previous models, so the Mizuno Wave Rider shoes offer maximum comfort.

Pros
  • U4icX Hard-wearing strobel under the removable, padded insole ensures a comfortable foot feeling.
Cons
  • Only available in black

Not too soft, not too supportive, just right (and they breathe)!

1 - I'm male (account owner's husband) 2 - I don't run (knee pain and now have plantar fasciitis), but I wear treadmills/trainers every day, every day day, and still changing 2-3 pairs about once a year 3 - My podiatrist put me on Mizuno neutral treadmills after years of wearing Brooks Beasts. I couldn't be happier that I switched! 4 - Started with Wave Rider 20s. Love these and the 21. These kits are my first attempt at the 22 and I am happier with them than the previous 3 kits (yes I have the

  • Cloud Wave cushioning for cushioning that lasts longer than traditional running shoe cushioning

Great shoes for me. Very durable top.

This is my second pair of Wave Rider Waveknit and fifth pair in the entire Wave Rider range. I've been running for 14 years, but in recent years I've increased the distance. 2 years ago I ran my first half marathon, last year I ran my first full marathon and earlier this year I ran my first 50K. I trained 50km in the Waveknit R1 and ran in these R2s. I haven't had blisters with any of the Waveknit pairs, but sock selection is key here. For me Waveknit is a bit smaller. I had to wear a 12 on…

Pros
  • Lightweight and breathable.
Cons
  • Annoying
