I have several sizes of these bits and they are still sharp after years of cutting holes in wood and fiberglass boats (hulls and decks). Fiberglass, in particular, can dull a hole saw quickly, but I'm happy to report that this grade stays sharp after about 50 holes. Excellent product, worked exactly as requested. I bought 8 LED recessed lights to improve the lighting in my kitchen. This required drilling 3-7/8" holes in the plasterboard ceiling. This hole saw was the exact diameter. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars and not 5 is because neither Revain nor the supplier have emphasized the fact that it requires a 5/8'-18 hole saw arbor instead of the more common hole saw arbors.
