This works fine for my dog. She barks loudly at anything that moves outside, and her calls of "silence" just didn't add up. When I first got this I wasn't sure if it would help, but after I pressed the buttons for the first time she immediately stopped barking. After just a week, the barking dropped drastically, and when she barks, it's usually just a soft bark. Better yet, when she sees me holding the device, she doesn't bark at all.
