My husband trips and falls easily so I needed a handrail in the shower. I installed them in 4 bathrooms. The oldest have tiny spots of rust but the ones I've painted are doing great after 10 years. The new husband in the bathroom said he didn't need the railings, but he really wanted those shelves, just like the old house. He may not realize these are handrails! The tiler added some wood to the wall to make it quite strong.

My mom gets a handrail disguised as a shelf. I used the attached template - error. Should have checked beforehand. I drilled holes and found they weren't quite right. I was able to get it to work, but I'm kicking myself in the ass for assuming the template is perfect. The right "lid" doesn't snap into place either.
