    Does NOT include SecureMount anchors - it will cost you an additional $12 per anchor!

    I can't say anything bad about the pole itself, but the information here is misleading - it does NOT come with SecureMount anchors. Yes, bolts are included, but they're only useful if you have the bolts right where you need them, which is unlikely, especially with bars that aren't a multiple of 12 inches. SecureMount anchors perform like a champ - both drywall and faux marble - if you have the appropriate 1.25" hole saws they are easy to use, very reliable and well designed (even have built in…

    Great for horizontal mounting on 16 " center studs

    I started this project with a 36" bar from a big store (32" bars just weren't available at any hardware store - not even online) . I knew I had to place the 36" bar diagonally at the end since the lugs were on 16" centers. However, the resulting angle was too steep to be used in a freestanding shower.     Good handrail, I would buy again.

    High quality handrail, six screws included. I am an OT practitioner and very often recommend handrails around the house. One problem I find with many handrails is that when mounted horizontally (based on 16" wall studs on a central frame structure) the consumer purchases poles that do not match the post spacing that requires postless anchoring.     Good bar but difficult to install

    I bought a 32" horizontal stud mount bar. I hesitated because other reviews complained that the screws were useless. I was able to install with the screws provided but it took some tricking as the screws are finely threaded and not rough and sharp like deck screws and have a small Phillips head (much smaller indentation in deck screws) that is easy to remove. .
